Robinhood didn’t send 1099 form because I made less than $10. How do I report it on TurboTax?

To clarify your question, did you make less than $10 on stock sales or dividends?

You can enter the dividends as though you did receive a form.

Sign into your return:

  • Select Federal
  • Go to Wages and Income
  • Scroll down to Investments and Savings
  • Select Show More and Click Start next to Dividends on 1099-DIV
  • Choose how you'd like to enter your 1099-DIV
  •  Manually enter your form, select Change how I enter my form, select 1099-DIV, then Type it in myself on the following screen
  • Fill out the form with the information from Robinhood to report your dividends

Thank you for answering, but I don’t have any information that’s being asked by TurboTax about 1099-DIV

Did you get any statements during the year? TurboTax is not asking for much:

1. name of payer

2. total ordinary dividends

3. Qualified Dividends (this number will be the same or smaller than the ordinary dividends)

4. total capital gains distributions

Go through your statements (if any) and see what you can scare up. Something is better than nothing.
