Prudential is not listed on search for your financial institution on Turbotax premier desktop version for data download.

Prudential is listed on your partner list online, but I cannot find it with the "Search for Your Financial Institution" tool in my desktop version.

I don't see Prudential listed as an option anywhere.

That's right. That is exactly half of what I said. However, as I said, there is a list of companies on the website that should be and Prudential is one of them. Matter of fact, without doing an actual count, I would say it appears there's quite a few missing.

Prudential is only listed for retirement income.   See this TurboTax FAQ for help entering your 1099-B forms.

I'm with you so far, but what does import mean? I used to use the (download? Import?) tool as shown in previous answer above. Is it done differently now? I know I can always enter it manually but I'm trying to learn what has changed and how it is done now.

Thanks also for the information. However Prudential in any form still does not appear in the Find Your Account to connect and import retirement distribution income. "Prudential (Life, Annuities, Retirement)" is listed on the TurboTax Import Partner page. I'm becoming disenchanted with the product as every year it becomes less user friendly. This snafu may push me out the door.

Since Prudential has merged with Empower Retirement and LPL Financial, see if you can import from LPL Financial, which is an import partner of Intuit.

The Prudential Tax Services LLC statements are disappointingly not compatible with LPL Financial.  I have for years been able to import these statements with Prudential.  I guess I will have to go back to inputting them by hand like it did in the early years of this software.
