Our family limited partnership owns a rental house, but we didn't rent the house in 2017 because we're trying to sell it. Should I count the property as retired for 2017?

In prior years we had income from the rental property and also depreciated the house and other assets

Yes, if it's no longer available for rent, it's no longer in service, so it's no longer a rental property.
