My stock total proceeds and cost basis number is too large to enter.

I'm putting my stock sale transactions not individually, but as one entire summation as given by my broker on the 1099 form. I keep getting an error saying "The value is too large for this field. Enter a smaller number." I can't, it's the summation amount. How do I overcome this? It's too hard to enter each transaction and I can't break up into different chunks. It seems TurboTax only allows up to 7 digits.

You can split it in to multiple transactions.  For instance, if your category A - Short Term transactions has a proceeds total of 21,300,000, enter it as three transactions with proceeds of 7,100,000.  Also adjust the cost basis in a similar manner.

This is very stupid.  Why can't you just make it enough digit??
