My propety settlement statement does not have "Abstract fees". What are these and where can I find them? I am trying to claim depreciation on my residence converted into rental.

Abstract of title fees are costs related to researching the full history of your house and its ownership. Not everyone does the title searches, so if you do not have them, you cannot deduct them.
