My 1099-DIV includes line 5 199A dividends for an ETF (held 58 days) with some REIT holdings. I am an indiv with NO Qual Business Income. Can I deduct on form 8995? TU!

Turbotax seems to be taking this deduction, but from what I'm reading I think I may not qualify because I have no QBI so I am afraid to take the deduction. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Yes, you can take this deduction.  The 199A dividends pass through the deduction to the recipient of that portion of the income from the ETF (or other packaged investment product such as mutual funds.)
