My 1099-b worksheet produced by TurboTax looks weird with "For Interview use only"

The printed copy of my 1099 worksheet looks very weird. It has "For Interview use only" for every trade. Is it the same for everyone else?

Yes, that is normal.   The gray area says "For interview use only" which means only certain questions in the interview will use those check boxes, or any that are needed will be checkmarked automatically.

It's sort of a warning for anyone editing that worksheet in Forms Mode (desktop version) not to use that gray interview-use-only area in Forms Mode and explains to someone looking around why there may be some checkmarks in some.

In fact, I don't think it will let anyone make a manual entry in them even if they tried.  Plus they are not labelled, so someone would not know what he/she was answering anyway. 🤔

NOTE:  For desktop users, in the instructions to that Form B Worksheet TurboTax strongly recommends that users use the Interview Mode (Step by Step) for entering investment sales data.   Trying to enter everything on the worksheet in Forms Mode can be complicated.  And there are several followup questions in the interview.
