In TurboTax 24 Premium, I select the Start button on 1099b entry, but the software brings me to the wrong place -- 1099int and 1099div entry. How do I get to 1099b entry?

Looks like a bug to me. And Intuit AI just runs me around in circles

In TurboTax Premium Online, if I select Start/Revisit to the right of Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B), I come to the screen Let's finish pulling in your investment income.

I do find interest and dividend information here but I also see IRS form 1099-B information, as well.  Select Add investments.

At the screen Let's import your tax info, you will be given the choice to enter a transaction by hand, to import from your bank or to upload a file from your hard drive. Follow directions based upon how you want to enter the transaction.

To manually enter a transaction, follow these steps.

  1. On the Let's import your tax info screen, you may select Enter a different way.
  2. On the OK, let's start with one investment type screen, select Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, then Continue.
  3. At the screen Which bank or brokerage, enter the information.  Click Continue.
  4. Do these sales include any employee stock, enter No.
  5. Do you have more than three sales, enter No.
  6. Do these sales include any other types of investments, enter No.
  7. Did you buy every investment listed, enter Yes.  Continue.
  8. On the screen Now, choose how to enter your sales, select One by One.  Select Continue.
  9. At the screen Look for your sales on your 1099-B, select Continue.
  10. Enter the IRS form 1099-B information.
  11. Select Add another sale to add another transaction.
