iF i START RENTING MY VACATION HOME YEARS LATER IS IT CONSIDERED A RESIDENCE IN THE PAST

qUESTION IN tt IS "WAS IT A RESIDENCE IN THE PAST" It was not a primary residence, It was a vacation home (secondary) how do I answer that question

Residence is the best choice. You converted your second home into a rental. This means you owned it as a type of residence rather than business or just purchased. It doesn't have depreciation or other odd things to worry about.
