If I sell a REIT through TD Ameritrade, does this count as "other types of investments such as land, collectibles and other items"?

A REIT can be reported in two different ways.

• If it is reported on a 1099-B it will be posted as a stock.
• If it is posted to a K-1 it would be posted as a K-1.  If you have sold it it will be a final K-1.
