If I had a was sale on form 1099-B, do I still have to file form 8949?

The 8949 is the form that TurboTax fills out for you based on the inputs from the 1099B.  So you just enter the 1099B and it is generated.  If you don't file it with the return the IRS will bug you about the sales.
