If I am renting my recreational vehicle (travel trailer) in California am I required to pay a use tax for the rental?

You'll want to contact the CDTFA - California Department of Tax & Fee Administration for rules on sales and use tax....TurboTax is for Income taxes, not Sales and Use tax.
