I work at home and have no desk on location at my company. It is strictly work at home. Are there deductions in rent or energy costs available?

Not unless you are self-employed.  If you a "W-2 Employee", you cannot deduct any unreimbursed business expenses, nor can you deduct expenses for a home office.
