I was not able to file efile due to need correction on the the Sch E line 4 for royalty income. I do not have royalty income, so I input $0. the issue does not go away.

I want to file efile on my return.
system is stopping me due to need correction on royalty income which i do not have royalty income. I entered $0, but its going back over and over.

Yes.  If you don't have royalty income, you may need to delete the form Schedule E to clear the error.  To delete the form:

  • In Turbo Tax Home Screen, scroll down and select Tax Tools, then Tools.
  • Under Tool Center, click delete a form.
  • Under Review form list, scroll down, select Schedule E and click delete.

After you delete the form, you may do a Federal Review to check if error was gone:

  1. Click Federal Review located on the upper right hand side of the screen .
  2. Click review to each details ,and it will take you to form that has error/s. 

If the steps above clear the error, you may transmit your taxes.
