I sold stock and then re-bought it 4 days later. Do I still have to pay capital gains?????????

Yes the sale is reportable on the return.

If you sold it with a loss and then re-bought it back within 30 days, the wash sale rules would come into play.

However if sold with a gain, the wash sale rules do not apply.
