I rent half of my primary residence to a tenant. Do I enter information about mortgage interest and property tax in the rental section AND the tax breaks section?

If I should enter it in both sections, should I enter 50% in each section?

Yes.  If the tenant has full access to the house, except your room, you can put half your mortgage interest and property tax in the rental section and then the other half on schedule A (where you itemize for the tax break).
