I received my final balloon payment on a seller financed loan. Where do I state the finalized sale of the property? It was a rental prior to the real estate contract.

Please clarify. 

• Was this an installment sale (taken over more than one year) and you provided the mortgage/loan?
• What year did you sell and did you report the rental sale on your income tax return?
