I live (own house) 100 miles from work. Can I deduct lodging espenses like monthly rent for additional apartment?

I own a home and live in Banning California, I work in Beverly Hills, CA. the distance is over 100 miles commute, I rent an apartment in Beverly hills close to work and live there during the week. Is the apartment rental deductible?

No. That is not deductible at all. Personal living expenses such as rent are not deductible for any reason. The cost of commuting to and from work is not deductible no matter what the distance is.
