I live in a Mobile Home Park in New Jersey. I own my Mobile, but pay space rent which includes utilities each month. Does this qualify as paying rent?

this covers trash, water and other expenses. not gas or electric.

Yes, this is considered rent for the purposes of the Property Tax Deduction/ Credit on the NJ return. You are a tenant for this purpose, even if you own the mobile home.

Indicate that you are a renter on the first screen in the NJ interview, not a homeowner. Enter the site fee as the rent so your tax benefit can be calculated.
