I have stock but I didn't sell any shares in 2015, do i still have to wait for my 1099 form to finish my taxes?

It depends.

Yes - If your stock holdings pay dividends or any other payouts, you will need to report this information (from your 1099-B and or 1099-DIV) on your tax return.

No - If your stock holdings pay no dividends or any other payouts and you did not sell any shares, then you will not need to report this information on your return.
