I have rental property which was given to my spouse in my divorced settlement. How do I enter this in Turbotax?

In my divorce settlement, my spouse received the rental property. How do I end Schedule E on my return?

For your return you will simply delete it, however it transfers to your ex spouse exactly as it was in your hands so your ex spouse will need all the details of your assets so they can transfer/enter on their return. They will use the original cost basis, date placed in service and prior depreciation.  Before you delete it you should print the entire return including worksheets.

You'll need to delete this Schedule E, and anything associated with it.
