In order to deduct the quarterly management fees on your return you must itemize your deductions on your tax return, meaning you file a Schedule A. Per the IRS rules the maintenance fees will be limited to the extent that it exceeds 2% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
To report the fees on your return:
1. Login to your Turbo Tax account
2. Click Continue your return
3. Click My Account (top right corner of the screen)
4. Click Tools
5. Click Topic Search
5. Click investment fees or investment advisor fees
6. Follow the prompts.
