I have a rental is it better to use my registration fees in this section or under deductions and credits?

If the registration fees pertained to your rental business, it is better to put them there.

There are fewer personal itemized deductions under the new tax law, and if they qualify as business expenses, it is in your best interest to claim them as such.

As I continued with my return, I found the fewer personal deductions you mentioned, so had already kind of found my answer.  However, I definitely appreciate any advice from a taxpro.  Thanks.
