I had stock & company went bankrupt. It was removed from my statement, i have a loss but the only documentation are statements but no 1099. Where do i show that loss?

Talked to Schwab and they said they don't provide any additional info other than the statements. I need to understand where/how to show the loss on the return.

You can enter that as an investment sale in TurboTax. Report the sales proceeds as $0 and the cost basis as what you paid for the shares.

You enter investment sales in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Investments Sales, then Stocks, cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc... Skip the section where it asks if you want to upload your tax documents. Choose Stock, Bonds, Mutual Funds as the type of investment you want to enter. You'll come to a screen where you can enter in your sales proceeds and cost basis.
