I don't have any royalties, but keeps telling me to fix the error under amount of royalties. I have rented a house out for years and have never run into this problem

You may have reported your rental income as royalty income in your 1099 MISC. Check your entry to see if you recorded an amount in Box 2 royalties instead of Box 1 rents. Also check your hardcopy 1099 MISC to see if that form was marked  correctly by the issuer.
