I am unable to enter a capital loss carry-over in the on-line version of TurboTax. Any suggestions on how to do this?

For a capital loss carryover -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Under Investment Income
On Capital Loss Carryover, click the start or update button

I am using Turbotax Premium...do I need Home and Business to enter a capital loss carry-over?

The TurboTax Premium online edition can be used for the capital loss carryover and to enter any investment sales in 2024.

I am using TurboTax Premium online edition as is the other user above.  Capital loss carryover is not a choice, as stated there are only 1099-XXX choices.

Scroll down the income list in TurboTax Online, then expand the Investments & Savings section.  @scott130   You will see Capital Loss Carryover as the last option in that group.

Appreciate all the input, but I was not able to resolve.  I was able to see the data that carried over from my 2023 return, but it was not posting to Line 7 of the 1040.  Went ahead and filed without it since the impact was not great.  Also, I was seeing different menu layouts from what others posted.

If you used TurboTax Online you can use the link below to enter your capital loss carryover. This can be done on an amended return.
