I am trying to adjust my rent amount that I paid and I cant find where to do that

This could be a credit or a deduction in your state interview.  If you revisit your state interview you may arrive at a page showing all the sections of your state interview and you would look for a section for "taxes and credits". 

 If you clarify your state someone may be able to provide the specific place your situation.
