I am MFS. Why do the prompts phrase the question “Did you or your spouse collect rent...”, “did you or your spouse collect interest”,etc. This should just be about me.

I did not provide my spouses personal info last year, why is it phrasing the questions as a ‘we’ this year if i am filing married but separate?

If you live in a community property state, then it matters.
