How do I report timeshare rental income and expenses from two different properties?

Received a 1099 Misc. and tried to use Schedule E, but it applied all the income shown to one unit. I rented out two units and need to apply income and expenses to each unit separately

Remove the 1099-MISC from your return, then enter the income applicable to each Schedule E, timeshare rental.  This will allow you to show the correct income for each property.  Keep the 1099-MISC in your tax file.

Select the link below for the TurboTax product you are using for your return.

You'll need to delete this form ---Form 1099-MISC-------.

  • If you're using TurboTax Online software and need to delete a form, click here.
