Enter in TurboTax as rental and under the Property Profile, indicate that you rented a part of your home on the page, Do Any of These Situations Apply to This Property?

Check the box that you rented part of your home and continue until reaching the page, Let Us Calculate Your Expense Deductions for You.

If you select yes, then TurboTax will compute the rental portion of your interest/property taxes for your rental expenses, based on the Rental Use Percentage you input. Enter the whole amount. The personal portion for interest/property taxes will be transferred to the Your home section and you will not input again. For the rest of expenses like utilities, repairs etc., enter the gross figure and TurboTax will just take the rental portion.

If you select no, then you will enter do the math and enter just the rental portion. Then navigate to the Your Home section to enter the personal portion of interest/property taxes.
