If you have investment sales you have to report them on your tax return. You can't just drop them. Why do you want to delete the gains and losses? Is it so that you can use TurboTax Free Edition? You just might not be eligible to use Free Edition this year. If your income is $79,000 or less you might be able to use IRS Free File.
