Are you importing data from a tax return you prepared with the online version of TurboTax last year? Or is it the desktop version? (I ask, only if you need to know how to transfer. I think you already know that.)
Basically, the only possible way to import the data, is to clear the return and start over from scratch. You can only import "before" you confirm your personal infomation, and that's it.
With the online version the ability to start over is in the TOOLS menu. The select is "Clear and Start Over". Take special note that if you have already paid your online TurboTax fees, then that option is not available. You'll have to enter the prior year information manually (depreciation mainly, and carry over losses from form 8582 only if you have any).
