Helping a friend Amend 2023 return to add basis for nondeductable IRA on form 8606

Friend did a backdoor Roth conversion but didnt enter basis, so it was taxable in 2023 for 6,000. Done in March 23 for 2022 IRA contribution (nondeductable).

Her return was done by her on TT online. I would like to file amendment for her on TT Desktop. I have her 2023 return pdf, its not that complicated. I have never done an amended return. How best to proceed? Re-enter entire return in TT Desktop as amended return, with correct 8606?

You don't have to recreate her 2023 return in Desktop if your friend prepared their return in TurboTax Online. For instructions on how to file an amended return for 2023 see the following TurboTax Help Article: How do I amend my federal tax return for a prior year?
