I did not get any reply from my last post. I am using Turbotax Deluxe on the Mac platform. Would someone be able to provide a walk-through of the steps on how to enter mortgage interest when renting out part of home? Turbotax is giving 100% plus owner's portion of mortgage interest on Schedule A and rental portion on Schedule E. This results in a much higher itemized deductions.
