Download from multiple accounts with same broker

I have two accounts with one of the major brokerage firms. Each year-end tax statement has its own Document ID which is required for download to TurboTax. For tax year 2019 I was able to initiate two separate downloads without issue.

For 2020 tax year I can only download from one account. If I attempt to initiate a second download, the software does not prompt for Document ID but simply presents the data from the first download again.

Obviously, I would like to avoid having to manually enter data for the multiple 1099 forms; especially all of the sales transactions.

Multiple Brokerage Accounts
If you have a single broker for multiple accounts, when the selecting to add another account for the same broker: Clear cookies and then search for your broker via the search bar rather than clicking the broker icon. This should allow the screen to input account information and import the data.

This solution does not work for me. If I download 1 account from Schwab, turbotax gives it the name of the broker. When I download another account, it gets overwritten with the same broker name. This worked fine last year where I could download and uniquely name accounts. Why is it broken in turbotax 2024? Please fix.

This may a browser error where is the browser is reusing the cookie stored for your transaction and being used when you try to pull your wife's information.

Use the Chrome browser and clear browsing data for all time before signing into TurboTax.  Then try to complete the download for your wife.

If you are still unable to download it properly, then you do have the option of entering only summaries, instead of transactions.

Here are some directions to do that:  Enter Summaries in Lieu of transactions.
