Does Turbotax automatically add the loss from a wash sale to the cost basis of the new stock or do I have to do it manually? Turbo tax will load my 1099B from brokerage

TurboTax does not automatically add the loss from a wash sale loss to the basis of the replacement shares.  If the broker doesn't do it for you - check carefully and you may find that they've handled it - then you will do it yourself.
