Does Florida consider the sale of rental property (a single family house and land in a condo community) a business requiring filing a state BUSINESS return?

"Does Florida consider the sale of rental property...a business requiring filing a state BUSINESS return?"

In most circumstances, and virtually all circumstances where the property is held and sold by an individual or individuals, then there is no state filing requirement.

In the event the property were held by a corporation, see http://floridarevenue.com/taxes/taxesfees/Pages/corporate.aspx
