Do I need to file an NJ tax return while I am Non-Resident and have a small rental income?
I am a Non-Resident of NJ and I have rental income from NJ around $5,000 net profit a year. Do I need to file NJ tax return? If so, will my Non-NJ income also be taxed in NJ?

You must file a non-resident NJ return if you have NJ-source income and your gross income from everywhere for the entire year is more than $10,000 if filing Single or MFS, or $20,000 if filing MFJ or HOH. NJ will tax only your NJ-source income.
