Common Stock Cost Basis vs. YE Book Value vs Typical Purchase Price

Year-end 1994 Book value of Common Stock at time of Asset transfer to Trusts $80/share.  Throughout the stock history, shares have typically sold for 60% of Book Value.  What cost basis do I enter in TurboTax?  $80/share X 60% = $48/share ... $48???  What do I enter in "Accrued Market Discount.?

The cost basis is unique to the time and date that you purchased it.

If you didn't maintain these records you can see Google Stock Quotes for stock information.

You will have to post the best information based on the information that you have.
