1099div dividends and distributions

if dividends are rolled back into my stocks do I still claim them on taxes

Yes, but not if the dividend reinvestment takes place in a tax-deferred retirement account such as an IRA account.  Generally, in a taxable account even if dividends are "reinvested" (rather than dispersed to you), they are still considered "distributed" and therefore are reportable as income in the year the dividends were issued.  Dividends from municipal bonds may be tax-free but are reported on your tax return.
