1099-INT Turbo tax says box 8 is $0 but my 1099 say otherwise. How do I fix it?

1099-INT:  Turbo tax give me an error message.  It says that my Box 8 amount is zero which is not the case.  In box 13 I have a sizable amount of bond premium on tax free bonds.  Turbo tax says that since box 8 is zero I cannot utilize the Bond premium I paid.  I am very confused.  I did go in and edited all of the entries relating to the tax free bonds.  Any suggestions?   Thanks.

Are you getting the same error after editing the entry?

Hi: Yes, I went in and edited all of the tax free bond information and I still received the error message.  The only way around it is to put $0 but that is not accurate.

I am trying to reply back to Carissa M but I do not know if my message is getting through.  I did get the same error message after I went through all of the edits that I needed to do on  the tax free bonds.
