1099 forms not available for user ID

When I try to import my financial information into TT (I am using desktop version) from Lincoln Investment I get the message "1099 forms not available for user ID". I have been able to do this for a number of years without any issues. I have talked with both TT and Lincoln and neither has a solution other than enter the information manually which I prefer not to do as there is quite a lot of information.'' Does anyone know a solution to this issue? Thanks!

You may want to check and make sure your financial institution or brokerage is a TurboTax 1099 partner. You can also try using a different web browswer or the steps provided below to see if that resolves your issue:

 

  • Log completely out of your TurboTax account
  • Clear cache and delete cookies
  • Then log back in and see if you are still having the same issue
