Form 4797 Part II, line 10f Gain subject to Recapture as Ordinary Income

I do not see where to enter the gain to recapture as ordinary income from the sales schedule of public partnerships, so I entered it manually by overriding it. The column g did not change. 

Gain subject to recapture as ordinary income:  1000

Part II, Line 10g (before adding this recapture): 4000

Should the resulting gain, line 10g become 5000?
