Retirement tax questions
It is more involved than that.
First, 2018 and 2019 must be filed separately. If the government issued you social security benefits, the IRS will already have your information.
Second, 1099 forms can be imported or typed in based on your specific details.

An article posted March 27, 2020 in Forbes states: Those who receive Social Security retirement or disability benefits but earn too little to have to file returns, will also receive stimulus checks, based on the information sent to the IRS on 2019 forms SSA-1099 and RRB-1099.
