Medical expenses must exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. Unless your deductible was higher than this, you will not notice a difference in your tax return. Even if this qualifies, unless you have significant other deductions, such as mortgage interest, you may be better off staying in TurboTax Free Edition and claiming the standard deduction, which is $6,350 for a single filer in 2017.
