Deductions & credits

There could be a number of reasons.   Is one of the children older than 16?   If so, you do not get the child tax credit for that child for 2022, but you can still get the $500 credit for other dependents for the child.  If they are both under the age of 17, please provide some details here.. Did you enter Social Security numbers for each child?  Was one of them born in 2022?   

 

And.....you posted your question from the online Deluxe Live software ---- if you are really using that Live software you can talk to your tax expert for help.
