After you file

TurboTax never knows whether the IRS has issued your refund, whether you e-file or file by mail.  TT gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.  Only the IRS can give you any information.

Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Each tax year is separate.   Your 2023 refund--or lack of it--does not prevent you from filing a timely 2024 tax return.   If you filed late, you might need to use "zero" as your AGI in order to e-file your 2024 return.
