If your divorce or separation agreement was executed on or before 12/31/2018 the alimony paid or received can be reported on your tax return. If executed after 12/31/2018 alimony cannot be reported on a tax return.
If you are eligible to report the alimony received on your tax return, then you can amend the 2022 return.
