After you file
Can you please clarify if you need to amend a return that was filed and accepted by the IRS or fix your return that was rejected?
If your return was rejected, you should have received an email from turbotax@intuit.com with the subject line Action Needed. If you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam/junk folder. If you did not receive an email it's okay, just reopen your return and you will see the reason your return was rejected and the steps to follow there.
