If you e-filed, make sure the return was e-filed successfully and accepted:
- Please check your e-file status here -E-File Status
- If you have confirmed your tax return was submitted, make sure to enter the federal refund amount without the state refund, less any TurboTax fees if you chose to pay any fees out of the refund.
- If you are married filing jointly try using the Social Security Number for the name that appears first on the return.
Where’s My Refund? will give you the status of your refund. You can check the status within 24 hours after we’ve received your e-file return or 4 weeks after you’ve mailed a paper return. It has the most up to date information about your refund.
